Finished Test figure

Not the best pictures but just a few different angles of my first test figure for the modern kiwis.  Still not 100% on the uniform colour but i think its pretty close.

20140219_225646 A poor attempt at a representation of the NZ flag and the kiwi patch.

Keen to know what people think of the colours. I was using this picture as a reference.

Awesome!
If I was to be picky and you are asking for feedback I would consider a hint of orange in the darker brown camo colour. But it's not really required as it looks really good.
cheers

I was aiming for a more worn look to the uniform and gear than those shown in the picture above, thanks for the feedback though always appreciated. I may try a few different browns and see if there is a closer option.

Looking sharp! The Kiwi brown is a bit of an odd colour- especially to have it look right in 28mm scale.

You are game having a go a the flags, they are something I did with my Auzzies, and probably should have had more of a go at with my Kiwis. Perhaps my next batch I might have a better go at.

Great stuff Mark - welcome to the slippery slope of painting modern wargaming figures! These look the business. I've gone for a real dusting on mine especially around the lower legs which imho helps break up the camo a bit but isn't that necessary or accurate.
