Seven Years War Prussians

Hi Guys

Here's a little piece i finished up a little while ago for my Koenig Kreig Army. This little command stand Has Fredrick the Great (on the white horse) observing a conversation between a couple off his officers whilst several of his staff are observing whats happening in a nearby field.  The Miniatures are all 15mm and made by Old Glory.

For those of you who haven't heard of it Koenig Kreig is a fantastic little game that covers the Seven Years War period.  It's now in its third edition. For more info about this rules set go check out the website http://www.koenigkrieg.com/

Id love to know what you think. :)

Nice looking Fredrick stand. We played Koenig Krieg for about 20 years or so until we moved to Volley & Bayonet. Koenig Krieg is probably one of the best 'classic' style wargames for 7YW.

Hi AJ

Yeah ive only just discovered it and i have to say im having a little bit of trouble convincing my gaming group to give it ago but finially after a year we are going to have our first game on Saturday morning.

It's still a good set of rules. I know we dust it off from time to time. We'd still be playing it if we hadn't standardized on V&B for all black powder periods.

Great blog there... here, you know what I mean. Jeez what can I say I can remember playing KK shortly after it came out and for many many years afterwards (probably still have the original copies somewhere), it's a classic set of rules. Great work.

Cheers Dave, yeah KK is great - the new 3rd edition is laid out a little odd but once you read through it a couple of times and try it out i's a little gem of a game.

Currently in our gaming group it's being well overshadowed by FOG and Warmachine/hordes but it will get some more game time soon i hope.
